If you’re looking for a regular choir to join, I’m engaged as the musical director for two local community choirs and am open to contact from other singing groups looking for a conductor.
Glenfield Ladies Cooperative Choir is a non-auditioned community choir for upper (female) voices
Our members have a wide range of experience – some read music and have sung in choirs before; others are entirely new to choirs and learn everything by ear. They all share a love of singing and a commitment to do their best!
We sing a wide variety of music – traditional, contemporary classical, pop, jazz and showtunes and perform two concerts a year, in the summer and at Christmas.
We rehearse on Monday evenings (September – June), 7.15 – 9.15 pm at Glenfield Methodist Church.

Oadby Community Choir is a non-auditioned community choir for mixed voices (male and female)
Membership is open to everybody (aged 18+) with no prior musical experience required. Community is at the heart of everything they do, and they are proud to provide an inclusive opportunity for all adults to take part in a choir.
They perform 2-3 concerts a year, and each November they also perform at the Festive Lights Switch-On in Oadby.
They rehearse on Tuesday evenings, 7.30 – 9.00pm (school term time only), at Oadby Trinity Methodist Church.
Important note: The current musical director is leaving at the end of the year and I will join as the new MD in January 2027. Don’t wait until then to join though!
